Meet the Team
Dr. Thorpe received his DDS from The University Of Illinois and completed his oral surgery residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago Illinois. Dr. Thorpe is lovingly referred to as “Doc” by his staff and many of his patients. He currently lives in Higley Arizona and enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. Most of the doctor’s spare time involves him in church activities and scouting. He moved his office to Arizona in 1985, where he still continues to practice oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Thorpe continues to take courses in his field in order to take advantage of current technology and provide the best care possible for his patients. Our office staff are oral surgery certified, and attend frequent courses to maintain their certification. It is our goal to make each patient feel as comfortable as possible. As an oral surgery practice, we try to schedule emergency appointments within 24 hours.
Jeanne is happy to be at Dr. Thorpe’s office. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years and likes to be in a profession where she can help people. She is the office manager, with front and back office background, working in general dentistry and oral surgery. She is x-ray and CPR certified. Jeanne is the mother of two married children, and four grandchildren. She enjoys sewing, crafts, photography, genealogy and camping “in a trailer”.
Linda has worked in many areas of the dental field, including general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and now oral surgery which is, of course, her field of choice. She enjoys her job and tries to help the patient have a positive experience in our office. Linda is a native to Arizona. She and her husband have been married for 30 years. They raised 8 kids and are now enjoying their 14 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family!
Chanell has 7 years’ experience in the medical field, with over 6 years in oral surgery. She came to Arizona 8 years ago, after moving from Texas. She has been with Dr. Thorpe since February of 2006. Chanell has certifications in CPR and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Margarita has worked in the dental field since 1998. She worked for a general dentist for over 9 years and has worked for Doctor Thorpe for a year and a half. Margarita loves helping people and enjoys the adventure that Oral Surgery brings. She is fluent in Spanish, CPR certified, and has been cross trained to work in the back office. Native to Arizona, Margarita has been married for 8 years and has 2 beautiful children.
